Rory 2012-05-07T18:45:16Z 2019-04-22T17:01:35Z
My University uses Windows 7 professional roaming profiles with a domain. I'm not entirely sure how it works, so forgive me if this is a stupid question.

Is there a way I can reset my profile to its vanilla "out of the box" state for a new account? I've tried deleting pretty much every file I have write permissions on, but things in AppData like my Firefox profile, start-menu ordering etc all seem to get restored when I log back in.

Is this possible, or should I just ask the administrator? All the resources I've found have been for administrators to reset users profiles, not for users to reset their own.
0 Kernel processor power - Event ID 37 overexchange 2017-03-14T19:27:54Z 2019-04-22T15:03:30Z

History: Recently installed Window 7 Home OEM premium, with ubuntu as dual boot on DELL Latitude 3540.

In addition to problem1 in Windows7 & problem2 in ubuntu,

below is the new problem on my windows7 laptop,

Question:

How to resolve this Event ID 37 problem?
1 H264 in Firefox on Windows 7 N without Media Feature Pack? user369708 2014-09-18T09:06:27Z 2019-04-22T10:38:01Z
How can I play H264 videos and MP3 audio in Firefox on Windows 7 N Professional without installing Windows Media Feature Pack? No CPU activity, no network activity when Internet is disabled (of course), and memory load is 80 MB during the freeze, out of 100 MB when it finally starts to work.

To me, it is a distinct signature of a network process that conditions the execution of the entire application. Adobe is looking for something on the Internet, and won't allow any action from the user, even a scroll, until it's finished, or sure that the resource is unavailable, by...waiting for the timeout. And I'm waiting for that timeout too. Every time I open Adobe Reader after it was completely closed.

I've seen something about recently used files that are on an unavailable network location. I've tried reducing the recently used file list to 1 in the preferences/document menu, but this does not affect the complete list of recently used files, only what is displayed in the "file" menu.

None of the other answers (disable protected mode at startup, disable automatic authentication of signatures at startup, disable everything that required an automatic network action from adobe that I could identify) worked for me. The only thing I can do to work without this annoying interruption is to let the Internet on all the time, which is sometimes impossible.

If anyone has the REAL explanation to that problem, I would be very grateful. What is Adobe Reader looking for on the net that is so badly necessary that it has to stop functioning at all at startup until it finds what it's looking for?

Thank you for your help!
0 Does Windows needs its own boot partition when dual booting? The problem is i didn't want to install windows so i tried some ways that i knew.

1: first i tried pressing F8 while windows starting then it got to "Safe mode with command prompt" but then nothing appeared it simply again sent me to the login screen just the icons of "users account" got bit larger. Previously i used this trick on windows 7 (on other PCs and laptops) and it worked perfectly and i got the CMD to change password but don't know why it didn't work here.

2: then i tried pressing "shift" key while in login screen someone told me it will bring command prompt but it didn't it only brought option of "sticky keys".

3: Then i watched a youtube video in which that guy make computer in a situation in which computer ask for "launch a repair" and then from there he goes to C drive and System32 and then find a program called "utliman" and renamed it to "utliman 1" and then finds "cmd" and renamed it with "utilman" and the his laptop auto restarts and he uses two commands to set any empty password and that's it his laptop gets in. But when i tried the same way my PC didn't auto restart and i had to press the button on PC, then it again showed me two options one with "launch a repair..." and one with "start windows normally" when i clicked on "start windows normally" it only showed the windows logo and then it again restarts (the password screen didn't appear at all just a black screen for 2 seconds and then restarted again) it happened again and again. I tried turning it off from switch/electric socket and then "on" again but didn't work.

Now please tell me how do i get login screen? or only solution is to re-install the windows?
-1 Installing Win 7 on external HDD with Win 10 Already Installed Rizwanation 2019-04-21T09:13:49Z 2019-04-21T12:02:06Z
I have win 10 in an internal HDD (UEFI Secure Boot).
