There is a folder in my computer named "amd64_microsoft-windows-ucx-classextension_31bf3856ad364e35_10.0.17134.228_none_a6a5cb47f54600db". And it cannot be deleted and not shown in file explorer. It can be only seen in win rar. Also a cmd prompt with the same title of that file runs every once in a while and closes immediately. How do I delete that folder?

  • Alter folder's owner to Administrator. Add full rights to it to Administrator. Then - delete. – Akina Sep 4 '18 at 17:18
  • The folder would indicate you are running Windows 10 not Windows 8.1. Has the drive that contains this folder, ever been connected to a Windows 10 machine, if it has that would explain the reason the folder exists. – Ramhound Sep 4 '18 at 17:21
  • This file may be a system file and may not be removed at will. Consider if we can delete, if it can be deleted. We can refer to these ways in the link :windowsreport.com/cant-delete-files-folders-icons-windows-10 – Daisy Zhou Sep 6 '18 at 13:17
